Favoritten The Imperial vinner DsrackLAN lekende lett, etter å ha slått Burning eSports i finalen.
The Imperial, som er regnet som Danmarks beste lag, beviste denne helgen hvorfor dem er regnet som et av topplagene i Europa, da de vant DsrackLAN i Danmark. Laget var seedet som nummer 1, og det var på papiret ingen som skulle være gode nok til å slå laget. Imperial som senest i vinter utmerket seg på Dreamhack, ved å nå finalen i "Non-BYOC", viste toppklasse under hele lanet, og vant alle kampene, både under gruppespillet og i utslagsrundene. Det er ikke mindre imponerende at hver kamp i eliminasjonsrundene ble spilt med oppsettet "best av 3", hvor Imperial vant 2-0 over alle motstanderne!
Det europeiske storlaget spilte i finalen mot det tsjekkiske topplaget Burning. Kampen var regnet som den jevneste på papiret, men det tok ikke lang tid for å forstå at det danske laget, som vant upperbracket, var det beste laget. Laget styrt av FeTiSh tok tidlig kontroll, og hva enn laget gjorde, slet Burning. Imperial vant første kamp komfortabelt 16-5, en finale som utjevnet seg på kartet de_dust2.
Som eliminasjonsrundene, ble også finalen spilt med best av 3 kart, og Imperial valgte de_nuke som kampens 2. kart. Imperial viste muskler også her, og med en knusende 16-8 seier var det aldri tvil, det beste laget var ubeseirede Imperial.

- Thanks!
You was seeded as first, did you have in mind that there could be some suprises, or was this only one of the easy wins?
- Well the guys have been on excellent form lately and after seeing the teams in attendance most people would think that Online Kingdom would be our toughest rivals but after they crashed out very early in the competition it was clear the guys wouldn't have a problem winning the event. Don't get me wrong teams like H2K and Burning are very talented, but with the team playing as they are, there were no problems.
You have increased your skill, and some say Imperial has improved most between 2009 and 2010. What have you done this year, to go from one of the good teams, to one of the best?
- Ever since the team joined the organisation they've improved every month and now are one of the best teams in Europe. I'd say their determination to practice and improve is the main reason they have got to where they are now.
You have won DEL, and now DSrackLAN, what event will be the next for Imperial?
- The team were planning on attending SmackLan but with the event cancelled their next LAN will be the Copenhagen Games 2010.
Imperial performed well now in several online and offline tournaments, how do you look upon the 2010 season for Imperial, any main targets?
- As always the team's goal is to become the #1 team in Europe and we are all confident they will be the dominant team in Europe this year.

- I'd just like to say congratulations to the guys on yet another great performance and hope it continues. Also thank you for the interview!
